Don't think anybody's mentioned it yet but Congratulations to Liverpool, barring VAR:wink they have been the best team by miles this season, thoroughly deserved the title and truth be told very unlucky to not win it last season.

Tell the truth I thought they played better last season than this so next season should be very interesting, more so now United is coming to the fore, bring it on:wank

United aren't "coming to the fore". They're a long way from being at the level of City and Liverpool and even with the new players they bring in, it will take them time to get there. I think it will probably be a two horse race but for anyone who's thinking of making any bold predictions, I've just looked through some settled betfair bets and I laid City to win the title at 1.44 on the 10th of August last year and at 1.4 on 14th of September. Everyone I heard talking about it was sure that nobody could stop City and the season had only just started.

Of course they'll all have forgotten that now and half of them "always knew" that City would blow it:lol

That's football fans for you - full of shit. I don't know about you lot but I find that it's very rare to hear one in a pub with an original thought in their head. 99% of it is regurgitated shit they've heard on Sky or match of the day. I'd love to be able to record the cunts and play their bullshit back to them a couple of months later to show them how much they really know about football.

I gave up any pretence of having any knowledge of it a long time ago. My football betting is woeful. I probably always has been even when I knew every player in the top two divisions whereas now I don't even know half the cunts who play for the top 6 teams.:lol

Anyway, well done Liverpool. I still think that Kop is a psycho twat but if I were a Liverpool fan, I would love him forever.

I might even take an interest next season. Well, until September anyway.:thumb

Klopp - Yes, i will love him forever.
I don't think we will dominate for long, i dont think we will win it again next season either, but for him to give us the CL trophy and then end the 30 yr wait, he can shag my mrs anytime he wants to.

Only just seen this Punt, yes it was a belter.

I didn't mind Houllier, I know he wasn't everybody's cup of tea but I liked him both as a manager and a person.
He used to remind me of Peter Sellers in the Pink Panther but when it came to talking about football he was one of the few managers I would actually listen to.

:lol He did look like Peter Sellers. I never really liked the bloke . Like Kopp, his angry side was never too far from the surface but unlike Kopp he didn’t have a likeable side- he was just a boring twat. You wouldn’t want to live with the surly twat (says me)

But i suppose he should really be judged on his football management and he want bad at that .

    RIP

I've always had you as favourites, Arsenal have been great but City still the best team in the prem. Fantastic to watch. Go get the treble cause next season we'll be back lol

Looks like the end of an Era now Klopp has decided to call it a day, I must admit I never saw it coming and would be devastated if I was a Liverpool fan.
I doff my cap to him the way he has been the only manager to give us cheats a run for our money year in year out:hatsoff

Yes, not the best news today. I thought he'd see his contract out but maybe he's right and it might be the right time to go, but only in regards to the best intrest of the club, possibly?
We wouldn't want to make the same mistake when SAF retired where they left an aging squad to a manager with no connection to the club.

We have a new young squad and on paper Xabi Alonso looks every bit the right man to take them forward.

He was touted as the next Spurs manager before Postecoglou last year and we wouldn't want him signing elsewhere in the Prem.
It has to be an Alonso done deal for me, this news today. And I couldn't believe seeing 7/4 then Evens for most of the day. 2/5 in places now.

It's going to be some ride, the rest of the season. But today i'm gutted.

Couldn't agree more, after losing key players like Mane, Fabinho, Firminho and old hands like Henderson and Milner , I thought the writing was on the wall for a downward spiral but Klopp has shown what he's all about by replacing them with even more players a lot younger and just as equal in places if not quite there yet but full of potential unlike SAF who on his last watch ran his players into the ground for a final last hoorah before abandoning an ageing ship.
If anything Liverpool have loads more potential now than when he first took over and it's a huge surprise and relief tell the truth he's called it a day.

I'm beginning to think it was probably the wrong time to announce his departure and would of been better leaving it until maybe 3 or 4 games left to go.
I cant see us winning a single trophy this season now. How can the players all be FULLY focused going forward to May, knowing changes are coming and alongside the end of an era?
I'm seeing no trophy's and at very best a 3rd place finish.

FSG are pretty smart operators, especially with deals and finances, they've been good for LFC, so far.
I'm beginning to think that they might not necessarily go with Alonso.
There is still a chance, a slim one admittedly, that we remain a viable option for Mbappe should a deal failed to have materialise with Madrid for him. This imo could bring 7th in the betting, Zinedane Zidane (20/1) into the reckoning as our next manager.

Another longshot prediction, Salah's next club - PSG (33/1)
